Burny Wood Hearth was built on a simple principle: your woodpile is your business, and so is your data. This policy explains, plainly, what we do — and don't do — with information as you use the app.
We collect nothing. Burny Wood Hearth does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, or location, and does not track how you use the app. There is no hidden data harvesting behind the scenes.
Because no information is collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. Your seasoning logs, species notes, and calculator entries exist solely to help you — never to build a picture of you.
Everything — wood-cut dates, stack notes, species selections, and calculator results — is stored locally on your own device. Nothing is synced to a cloud server or backed up to our infrastructure, because we don't operate one for your data.
Burny Wood Hearth does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. There are no external calls made on your behalf to report usage or behavior.
Since your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. Your device's own security protections govern access to locally stored app data.
Burny Wood Hearth does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal data is gathered from any user, the app is inherently compliant with children's privacy protections such as COPPA.
There are no accounts to manage and no servers holding your data. If you'd like to remove everything the app has stored, simply uninstall it — all local logs and settings are deleted along with the app.
If our practices ever change, we'll update this policy and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
